Meet Our Staff
Our teachers at Believers are dedicated to generating an inner enthusiasm for learning with an approach presented in a pictorial and dynamic way to allow motivation to arise from within each child.
Catherine Stone
Owner | Director
A resident of Sussex County for over 50 years, Catherine founded Believers Learning Center in 2010 with the purpose of creating a stress-free, simplistic environment for children to learn, grow, and be loved.
Stone graduated from the University of Arkansas after attending Vernon Township high school and was a nationally and world-ranked runner. She believes in incorporating exercise into the daycare’s schedule to promote motor skill development, coordination, and of course fun! Children are loved, nurtured, and guided in the learning process in a structured environment under the guidance of Catherine and her qualified staff.
JoAnn Galinak
Co-owner | Caregiver
JoAnn, a mother of two, has been here since the inception of Believers Learning Center. She handles the curriculum and all of the projects for our children each week. Additionally, she has been actively involved in early childhood education classes over the years. JoAnn is dedicated to caring for the children and creating a fun yet learning environment for their growth and development. This early bird loves to greet our children every morning when she opens!

Barbara Carroll
Administrator | Caregiver
Barbara retired after 29 years of working in the public school system. Following that, she worked over 10 years at the Children’s School in Vernon. Barbara joined our preschool in 2011 shortly after we opened, and she has been a driving force in our success. Her love and knowledge of how to care for children of all ages has been heaven-sent.
TaliaJean Borkowski
Group Teacher
TaliaJean graduated top in her class and she use her skills as one of our amazing group teachers. Her strong academic background and skills for teaching different ages keeps the children feeling special and accomplished. TaliaJean challenges the children to grow through singing and game-playing during our learning time at Believers. Competent and calm are the outstanding qualities that TaliaJean possesses and adds to our success. We are glad to have such a mature teacher who can connect with our children. They totally love her!
Baylee Bosma
Teachers Aide
Baylee came to us with a desire to teach as she plans to pursue a teaching degree in her future. Her amazing dedication and efficiency complement our staff. She is an excellent disciplinary role model for the children. Her soft spoken to demeanor teaches the children how to listen more intently. We are fortunate to have her as a part of our staff at Believers Learning Center. Baylee is also Miss Northern Lakes and will be attempting to become Miss New Jersey!
